Vegg’E Endeavors: Halal Feast O

Something that I have noticed about Buffalo is the diversity. There are so many people from different backgrounds that make up the city. With that being said, different cultures means different foods to try! Yummy! It’s almost always an adventure when traveling to find something that fits my diet as a vegetarian. I also believe since being vegetarian it has allowed me to be more open to trying different foods especially coming from different cultures I haven’t grown up around.
One restaurant I tried is called Halal Feastó. A casual Halal restaurant serving burgers, wings, and platters, mainly specializing in Mediterranean and Afghan fusion food. Located in the University Heights District, the perfect place when walking by to grab something to eat. It’s a nice open area where you can sit anywhere. There’s even a backdrop on the wall if you want to take cute pictures and a foosball table to enjoy! Even though the area is spacious its not too big so, it does give more of a chill and personal atmosphere.
I ordered the falafel platter. It’s 4 pieces of fried falafels on top of rice with a fresh mix salad on top. The platter also comes with fries and your choice of sauce. I’ve had falafels before and I really enjoy eating them, but I can be picky on how they’re made. This wasn’t the case when I tried Halal Feastó’s food. It was fresh and it wasn’t overcooked. Their sauces are pretty good too. If you are someone who loves spicy things, they have several different spicy sauces to choose from. Speaking from experience, it is spicy! Again whenever you decide to visit Buffalo, NY and need something to eat, stop by Halal Feastó.
